Usage
Opening the panel
Window > Tools > App Docker. The panel appears as a dockable tab that can be placed anywhere in the editor layout.
Capturing a window
- Click the + button in the tab bar.
- A menu lists all available external application windows.
- Select the window you want to embed.
The external window loses its title bar and frame, and appears inside the editor panel.
Managing tabs
- Switch between captured windows by clicking their tab.
- Reorder tabs by dragging one onto another to swap positions.
- Release a window by clicking the × on its tab, or by dragging the tab outside the panel.
- Released windows return to the desktop with their original size and position restored.
Auto-cleanup
- If an external application is closed, its tab is automatically removed.
- Closing the App Docker panel releases all captured windows back to the desktop.
- All windows are released on editor shutdown.
